Soft and comfy, lightweight. Not like Susano-o at all.
Susano-o, the Shinto God of the Sea and Storms 🌩️, is usually wild, going around causing trouble. Like one time he skinned a horse and threw it into his sister’s weaving hall, scaring one woman so much that she died.
But he also has a sensitive side. Once, he ran across an old couple and their daughter. They were all crying because a giant 8-headed 8-tailed snake ate all their other daughters.
Susano-o was smitten with the remaining daughter, Kushinadahime, and so he promised to take care of the snake for her hand in marriage.
He tricked the snake into drinking too much sake, then killed it.
He then built a palace for his new wife, and even wrote a poem for her.
